Samina is a performative researcher and conceptual artist. She refers to her deconstructed world as “wonderland” a laboratory where she attempts to diffuse the labyrinths around us. by dissolving layer after layer, she seeks to extract glimpses of a mystical inner world.
Through her performative research practices, she investigates notions of "seen" and "being seen", wandering and pondering realms of the invisible, a magical space where she contemplates the eternal looking glass "the secret gaze." She describes her work as an inquisition of magic, as she searches for shams, rumi, alice and the white rabbit.
Samina is the founder and artistic director of the international program and collective, the rabbit hole, and the creator of “the rabbit hole method”, a performative research approach to "remembering."
She lives and works in the rabbit hole via Paris, London, and New York.
