Throughout the past decade, Samina has been fascinated with the world of playful mysticism interrogating notions of the invisible and subliminal codes, acquiring knowledge from various masters of Sufism, Sacred Geometry, Kabbalah, and the teachers of Teatro de los Sentidos, learning more precisely the dramaturgy of sensory play.

As an individual research practice, she enters processes of self-inquiry by deconstructing notions of pilgrimages, journeys, and wandering inner landscapes, exploring their depths in Middle Eastern deserts, jungles in Costa Rica and Brasil, and Mediterranean port cities.

Through her collective, the rabbit hole, she designed “the rabbit hole method” in 2021, a process of poetical inquiry that extracts and distills from contemporary artistic practises, philosophy, mysticism, mathematics and dance.

Performative research forms the base of all her works: poems, drawings, installations.
